Todd Wurschmidt: Proud Buckeye

Todd Wurschmidt is a graduate of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences at OSU, and went on to graduate school, where he received his Ph.D. in Sociology, Diffusion of Innovations, and Social Action Processes.

He also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Ohio State. Todd Wurschmidt taught a graduate course of his own creation, which he called “Leadership and Management of Non-Profit Associations.” The course was offered through the University’s Department of Human and Community Resource Development.

As Todd Wurschmidt knows, The Ohio State University is considered one of the premier public institutions of higher education in the United States. OSU boasts more than one thousand student clubs and organizations. And as Todd Wurschmidt learned from first-hand experience, The Ohio State University offers students more than 175 majors, and a wide range of graduate programs.

The Ohio State University also has a long and proud tradition of excellence in athletics. Its football and basketball teams are regular contenders for Big Ten Conference titles. And no matter what else happens, it’s always a good year when Ohio State defeats its arch-rival, the University of Michigan, no matter what sport it is.
Todd Wurschmidt is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Association Executives, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
